The singer wanted the baptism done in secret, and has since spent time with Pastor Carl Lentz who's started a week of intense bible study with him.

t’s not just Justin Bieber’s career that’s going down the
plughole. The pop pipsqueak has attempted to wash away his sins by
turning to God for support and being baptized in a bath. Yep, really.
In the week the 20-year-old fetus
was forced to apologize after a second video was leaked of him dropping
the N-bomb and telling racist jokes, it has emerged he’s finding solace
in the bible.
Biebs has been spending time in New York with Pastor Carl
Lentz, who has revealed the pair have shared a week of intense bible
study.
Justin wanted to be baptized as part of his reconnection
with Christianity, but struggled to find a church that would do it in
secret, according to US reports.
One American source says: “Justin’s religious resurgence focused on studying Bible passages and attending services.
“He had to use a bathtub to get baptized in because every
time he checked out a church for the dip, his cover was blown – and he
desperately wanted to keep the whole thing private.”
Justin has stayed true to his religion so far and has been regularly uploading Instagram pics of bible passages and quotes.
Meanwhile, manager Usher has come to the defence of his protege, saying that Biebs is “unequivocally not a racist”.
The R&B star, 35, said that at the time the footage was taken, Justin was too young to understand the “negative power” of what he said.
Usher posted a photo of the two of them on Instagram with
the message: “At my core, I am a person that supports growth and
understands without judgement, that growth often comes as a result of
pain and continues effort.

“As I have watched Justin Bieber navigate difficult waters as a young
man, I can tell you that he hasn’t always chosen the path of his
greatest potential. But he is unequivocally not a racist.
